Stars of summer softball Camp

We are excited to present Year 3 of the Stars of the Summer Softball Camp! Our campers had such a great experience, we are doing it again!

The camp will be held at Pisani Fields, 31 Peck Street, Franklin, MA June 24-June 27.

Our Summer Camp is designed and led by Coach Clara DeCarvalho with the help of current/former collegiate softball players from Division I, II, & III programs across the country.


During our camp, our players will:

-Participate in drills and exercises utilized by college softball teams.

- Learn techniques and secrets from current/former college players on how to better their game.

-Work on improving overall performance including fundamentals.

-Combine old/new skills together to compete in live scrimmaging.


Players will also:

-Have fun with our competitive staff playing games and lively challenges between other campers and staff.

-Have an opportunity to hear from current/former college players about their experiences including a Q&A session.

-Receive elite coaching from current college softball coaches


Participants will also receive a free t-shirt!



Next9Up an athletic training facility dedicated to providing student-athletes and coaches access to each other here in the community. Our mission is to create an environment that fosters opportunities to learn valuable life lessons on and off the field.

We have partnered with reputable coaches in the area who share our philosophy and can help us execute on our vision to enable young ballplayers to build the skills and confidence they need to recognize their full potential.



Coach Clara DeCarvalho is currently the Head JV Softball Coach for King Philip Regional High School. She also coaches an 18u Showcase Team with the Mass Drifters. As a Franklin High school athlete and senior team captain, Clara was recruited by several collegiate softball programs as a catcher/third-baseman. She continued her athletic and academic career at Wheaton College where she played third-base and caught for the Lyons. Before working at KP, she was an Assistant Softball Coach at Tufts University and the Softball Graduate Assistant Coach at Clark University.

Our coaches will be accompanied by high school, college players and other coaches from Next9Up. All adults working at the camp have received CORI-clearance. We will have medical staff at the site all day, every day. Your child's safety is of the utmost importance.

Dates: Monday (6/24) - Thursday (6/27)*

Time: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Location: Pisani Field in Franklin MA

*In case of a rain-out day, we will reschedule to 6/30 at the same location will be the same (Pisani Field).

This camp must comply with regulations of the MDPH & be licensed by the LBOH.
